Working
through United Methodist Volunteers in Mission, we have become involved
with the residents of Tlalamac Mexico and the surrounding area
southeast of Mexico City. More recently, teams have also been serving in Managua, the Capital of Nicaragua.
At least one team goes each year to Tlalamac on medical missions, where members are blessed by those they have come to "help."
Mission teams from Wells are scheduled for July 10-18 to Managua, and October 30--November 7 for Tlalamac. We need to know of your interest and will be able to offer other dates if there is an outpouring of interest. We need this information soon. Contact the office with your information.
The Women's Sewing Cooperative, La Cooperativa,
is doing well and making a difference in the lives of the ladies who
participate.
